Texas Hold'Em is Exploding!
As you all know the game of Texas Hold'Em poker has blown up in the last few years. With that said, many new players are signing up at many Online Poker sites every minute. Even though they might not be playing for real money right away, the major online poker sites get thousands, if not tens of thousands of new members each year. I remember playing at PKR about a while ago, and there would be roughly 3,000 players playing online (and they had over 1 million members in total). Now they have about 10,000 playing consistently. I am not even going to mention the large sites like Poker Stars , because they probably have over 100,000 players consistently playing online (with millions of members). Well, online Poker and live poker is a very fun and social game. Now for some people it will be frustrating at times, but for me personally, poker is one of my favorite activities.
Poker is definitely a skill oriented game, and if you come to the table with the proper knowledge, you will have a greater chance of beating your opponents every session. Not only does it involve skill, but it involves a tremendous amount of patience, will power, and competition. We all want to WIN when we sit down at the table. Well...at least I know I do! I don't win all my sessions or tournaments, because that is not statistically possible, but I do yield some nice profits in the long run. So...as this growing field of new poker players, the "fish", gets even larger it leaves a great opportunity for the "Sharks" to make a decent sized profit by simply dominating the small stakes of online poker. Of course after developing superior poker skills you may start to clean up the small stake Brick and Mortar casino tables, but their smallest stake is generally $2-$1 while online, a good small stake is 25c - 10c or 50c - 25c.
I hope that you are not one of the new hatched "fish" in the big sea of Texas Hold'em, but if you are new to the game, do yourself a favor and accept the fact that you are not as good as you think you are! YOU will NEED some type of coaching in the near future in order to make DRASTIC improvements to your game! Keep in mind that the coaching comes AFTER you have a good grasp of the game (check out my Poker School section at the top of the page). This means that you know the rules, hand rankings, general idea of what hands to play preflop and how to proceed post flop in diverse situations. All this stuff can be learned from "Harrington On Hold'em" By: Dan Harrington and "Super System" By: Doyle Brunson or any other poker books, but I find these two really good for hand analyzations. Generally, no one decides to take up advanced and technical hockey lessons before they learn to skate properly! The same goes for poker or any other sport. You just NEED to get a feel for what you are going to do before you actually get serious about it. So I would suggest that you get at least 2 months of poker experience (even play money is fine, this is just to get a feel for the game). The longer you have played the better. Keep in mind that it can take you MANY years to develop the much needed skills for success that will put you into a "pro" level. This is true ONLY if you decide to try and learn these skills all on your own! You may argue and say, "Well back in the day, who taught Doyle Brunson, Huck Seed, and the rest of the old school legends how to win at poker?" "They didn't have anyone to give them major coaching tips or any poker books to read!" Well the truth is...they did not have those luxuries...these players developed some great skills, but it COST them REAL MONEY!! Not in terms of fees for poker schools, but in terms of the actual money they lost at cash games by making their mistakes. You see they paid for their education by making mistakes, but if you learn to avoid the mistakes before they even happen, you will be SAVING yourself LOADS of money! You have the luxury of taking amazing poker schools online and live (live sessions are quite expensive), so why not take advantage of this!? I will be sharing my experience with you absolutely FREE!

PLEASE lose it to me ... I'm not joking ... lol
Well...If you are one of those players that just DON'T CARE about losing $30+ a week playing poker, as a source of entertainment, that is fine by me...really...it is your money after all, not mine ... This would kill me inside though, knowing that I am losing $30 a week for absolutely no reason! The funny part is that most players don't even realize how much they are losing! Take this into consideration: what if you make this somewhat expensive "hobby" of yours actually work for YOU! Instead of losing $120 a month (that is $1440 a year) you could easily be winning 3x that amount. I am just assuming you are not playing 4-5 hrs a day 5 days a week, if you were, you could actually use poker as a part-time job! You can make $600-1000 a month by playing small stakes (online) poker. As you can see, there is great potential to make money in poker. Some of us need this extra money now, more than ever! Our economy (USA and Canada) is in what some of the "experts" call an economical crisis and recession. Many people are losing jobs and the pay is just not enough! Poker can help through this, and it has helped me!

Do not let your ego get in the way, even if you consider yourself a good player, you have lots to learn! Believe me, I was in your shoes, I know that feeling; where you think that no one's advice can really help you, because you are developing your "Own Game". Well let me tell you that it is a bunch of B.S.! After I got around my EGO, I realized the big mistake I was making before. I was constantly thinking I was the "BEST" and that no one could teach me how to play (lol ... I was such a fool...). At my current level of play, I can SAFELY say that I am better than 90% of the players that I meet in tournaments or cash games. I was only able to gain this wealth of knowledge through intense poker study and constant practice, and I could HONESTLY tell you that I would not be at this peak level that I am in right now if I did not take a much needed "underground" poker course. Trust me knowing all the theory, and reading all the poker books out there is VERY important...but...it is just not enough!...you still need that extra bit of "lost" or "concealed" information that only the really successful poker players know about. I consistently feel CONFIDENT about my play, I almost NEVER TILT... ever! Its as if I totally lost the urge to go on tilt. When I sit down at a table I always KNOW that I am the best, and this time I REALLY know that I'm the best, because...well...its quite simple...my STATISTICS prove it and my game play proves it! CONFIDENCE and elite KNOWLEDGE is what you need to become a VERY profitable, or a professional poker player.

I know exactly how you might be feeling right now...YES there are SOME scams out there on the internet, and the con artists are making themselves some good cash, cheating people out of their money! That's not what this is about...Let me explain, so just bare with me here...
